PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for the transmission of data to all terminal equipments by arranging the reply timing from a terminal equipment while multiple address transmission is applied to the transmission data to the same terminal equipment group. CONSTITUTION:In sending the data of same content from a master station M to terminal equipments A1-AN, the master station M generates a select signal having a multiple address format where each terminal address of the terminal equipments A1-AN is set to an address designation part and the transmission data is set to a data part and sends the result to a transmission line. The terminal equipments A1-AN receiving the select signal return reply data to the master station M after waiting time (T1-TN) elapses. When the transmission data to the terminal equipments A1-AN is not the same data, the terminal equipments A1-AN are classified into the group of the same transmission data and the select signal is sent to each group by the said multiple address format. The waiting time (T1-TN) is set so that the incoming timing of the reply data of each station to the master station M is not overlapped together and not placed apart too much.
