PURPOSE:To make the judgement of an operator unnecessary and to simplify an operation and to eliminate wasteful labor that information to be magnetically recorded is inputted when an unsuitable recording form is used, by providing a detecting means to detect whether a magnetic recording part is formed on the recording form or not. CONSTITUTION:Ordinary paper, thermosensitive paper, photosensitive paper, or the like is used as the recording form 1, and a band-shaped magnetic recording part 2 is formed along the end part of one side. A paper supply cassette 16 is so constituted that a height (a) in sides of band-shaped magnetic recording parts 2 of recording forms 1 is higher than a height (b) in another sides facing said sides. A magnetic sensor 86 is provided for the paper supply cassette 16 so that the sensor 86 is placed on the information of recording forms. The magnetic sensor 86 detects a magnetic part 136 formed in relation to the magnetic recording part 2 of the recording form 1 to detect the classification of the recording form 1. |
