PURPOSE:To obtain a desired reproduction image in a short time by obtaining the reproduced image when an area which is made into an image the moment all the scan actions end. CONSTITUTION:Data on a complex holograph signal is held in a latch 14, and an address counter 17 is set. The two-dimensional address of a space wave propagation function memory part 16 is specified, and the accessed data is inputted to a multiplier 15. An adder 19 adds an output. A drive part address 21 shown the position of X and Y scans, and an adder 22 adds the value of the address counter 17. The arithmetic result of the adder 19 is given to the two-dimensional address of a reproduction image memory part 20 which is added in terms of coherence. The arithmetic result is accumulated by an accumulator 23, and its result is written in the reproduction image memory part 20. After the arithmetic regarding all data on the space wave propagation function is terminated, the next transmission and reception are made, and a similar processing is repeated.
