PURPOSE:To obtain the titled alloy suitable for electron and electrical parts material, by composing of a specified ratio of Zn and the balance Cu. CONSTITUTION:The titled alloy is composed of, by weight 0.5-4.0% Zn, 96.0% Cu and has >=60% IACS conductivity. The Zn component suppresses elution of Cu ion by ionization in water at dew condensation and the migration is suppressed. If >=60% IACS conductivity is satisfied by contg. <=1.0% one or >=2 kinds among Be, B, Mg, Al, P, Si, Ti, Cr, Mn, Ni, Co, Zr, Ag, In and Sb in addition to the Zn as essential component, content in the range is permitted. The copper alloy is suitable for semiconductor parts, switch, mechanical elements such as terminal and electron and electrical parts material such as printed wiring.
