PURPOSE:To substantially increase the capacity of a main memory by previously storing a dump program for eliminating memory dumping in the memory at the side of a supervisory processor. CONSTITUTION:The supervisory processor 1 and an information processor 2 are connected through a common bus 3. The former has a processing part 11, a memory part 12 and a memory dump processing instruction switch 13, while the latter has a processing part 21, a main memory part 22, a disk control part 23 and a flexible disk 24. If the information processor 2 develops a system down, the instruction switch 13 is turned on to execute the dump processing. That is to write the dump program in the memory part 21 in the prescribed area of the main memory part 22 and an address for activating said program in the program counter of the processing part 21 and to cause the processing part 21 to begin its execution. Thus stored contents of the main memory 22 are completely memory-dumped on the flexible disk 24.
