Vaccines against pathogenic bacteria with capsular polysaccharides comprising oligosaccharides which are anchored in a liposome via amines, as well as a process for preparing such vaccines wherein capsular polysaccharides are hydrolyzed to oligosaccharides with 6-10 monosaccharide units, thereafter selected oligosaccharides with antigenic properties are reductively aminated and the obtained glycolipids are anchored in a liposome.
