PURPOSE:To enable economical and stable use of a gas lighter or the like through prevention of clogging of a nozzle and, at the same time, to obtain various clear bright colored flames, by dissolving a particular main emission agent, auxiliary emission agent and emission stabilizer in a flammable liquefied gas which vaporizes under atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:An arom. organometallic compd. as the main emission agent, ethyl oxamate as the auxiliary emission agent, and at least one member selected from among xylene, 2-ethylhexanoic acid and 2-ethylhexylamines as the emission stabilizer are dissolved in a flammable liq. gas which vaporizes under atmospheric pressure. Examples of the main emission agent include DL-menthyl borate, rubidium cyclohexanebutyrate, and strontium cyclohexanebutyrate.
