PURPOSE:To make the printing of both sides of paper possible, by a method wherein the discharge paper after printing the front of paper is again guided to a platen with a paper turning over roller other than the platen and a paper guide, and the back of the paper is printed by the reverse rotation of the platen and the rotation circuit of a letter pattern. CONSTITUTION:Letters are successively printed with a printing head 3 and a paper is sent upward. The paper is guided from one side port j of the paper guide 7 surrounding a paper turning over roller 6 to the paper turning over roller 6. The paper is turned over by the rotation of the paper caused by the rotation of the roller 6 and comes out from the other port k of the paper guide 7. When a paper presser 5 has already fallen the arrow (e) direction and the top of the paper reaches a platen 1, the paper presser 5 falls again to the arrow (f) direction and the platen 1 is rotated in the reverse arrow (h) direction. Then, the letter string of each line is printed in the sequence from the line end letter to the line top letter by the printing head 3. Furthermore, the letter pattern coming out from a letter pattern generator 10 is rotated by 180 deg. with a letter pattern 180 deg. rotation circuit 9 to be printed. |
