PURPOSE:To enhance the starting ability of an automobile engine to aim at simplifying a radiation system with the use of an electronic engine control device for the engine, by providing a voltage boost stopping function to a pressure booster circuit disposed between a constant voltage circuit and a battery. CONSTITUTION:An electronic engine control device comprises a voltage booster circuit 4 between a constant voltage circuit 2 for feeding a predetermined operat ing voltage to a control circuit 3 and a battery 1. When a starter switch 5 is turned on, a starter motor 7 is driven to crank an engine which therefore is started. At this time a relay 6 is energized to change over contacts 6a, 6b into the voltage booster circuit 2 side, and therefore, the voltage booster circuit 2 increase a battery voltage up to a value substantially twice as large as the original value, and feeds the boosted voltage to the constant voltage circuit 4. Thus, erroneous operation of the control circuit 3 is prevented, thereby it is possible to enhance the starting ability of the engine.
