PURPOSE:To permity easy arrangement of recording sheets, by providing a plurality of recording sheet receivers for storing recorded recording sheets for thereby classifying and guiding the recording sheets according to a designation from a transmitting side so that they are divisionally contained. CONSTITUTION:Image information transmitted from a remote place is displayed on a liquid crystal display 1 and it is scanned by a light source 2 so that a latent image is formed on a sensitive drum 8 by mirrors 3, 4, and 5 and a lens 6. The latent image is developed 14 by toner and transcripted 17 on a sheet 16 from a cassette 15 and the sheet 16 is removed from the sensitive drum 8 and fixed 19 before it is discharged. When printing is started by a print key, a recording sheet is discharged to a tray. When data from the remote place is automatically recorded, the recording sheet is contained in a sorter 29 where there is not a request from a transmitting side and it is divisionally contained in one of recording sheet receivers 24, 24a-24d by switching means 27, 27a-27d. With such an arrangement, time for classifying and arranging recording sheets is saved.
