PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of spacers, the assembling characteristics of the spacers and transparent substrates and dimensional accuracy and to permit simply production by circumferentially providing recesses for fitting the outside circumferential spacers to the outside circumferential part of the transparent substrates. CONSTITUTION:Steps 2, 3 are recessed to the spacer adhering parts of the transparent substrates 1, by which the thicknesses of the inside circumferential spacer 5 and outside circumferential spacer 6 can be increased and the size of dies for molding can be increased. The mass production of the spacers 5, 6 having the exact sizes with a good yield is made possible. Rigidity is improved and the handling of the spacers 5, 6 is made easy, by which the adhering work is made easier. The steps 3, 5 function as the means for positioning the adhering position of the spacers 5, 6 to permit the exact adhesion. |
