PURPOSE:To provide the processing method for a color photography which has an excellent bleaching rate and a low toxicity and is suitable for a demand of a pollution prevention by processing the titled material with a processing solution having a bleaching ability in the presence of a compd. shown by the specific formula. CONSTITUTION:The processing method of the photographic sensitive material is a method of processing the titled material image-wisely exposed, with a coloring developer followed by processing it with a processing solution having a bleaching ability, and contg. a metallic complex salt or a persulfate of an org. acid. Said processing method is effected with the processing solution having the bleaching ability in the presence of the compd. shown by the formula. In the formula, Y is an org. bivalent group containing no aromatic bivalent group in said group, and is preferably an alkylene, a cycloalkylene or a non-aromatic heterocyclic ring group and a residue bound >=2 said groups directly or through an oxygen atom, etc. The compd. shown by the formula is preferably added to the photographic constituting layer or the processing solution having the bleaching ability and/or the processing solution used for a forward step of said processing step. |
