PURPOSE:To alleviate a pressure fluctuation by providing two float switches set to a different water quantity in series from a pressure tank, and controlling pump operation depending upon the quantity of water fur use after a pressure rise. CONSTITUTION:A primary float switch 11 closing on a predetermined water quantity QFlow1 or more, and opening on a less water quantity, and a secondary float switch 12 closing on a predetermined water quantity QFlow2 and opening on a less water quantity are arranged in series from a pressure tank 3 to pump side. When water for use is equal to or over the predetermined quantity QFlow2, a pump is made to continue running and made to stop when water quantity is less than QFlow2. Also, the pump is made to stop when water for use does not reach the predetermined quantity QFlow1. Consequently, the pump can be continuously operated in a water service range wherein excessive hunting takes place, and an excessive pressure fluctuation does not occur.
