NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R<1> is (protected)amino; A is cyclo 3-6C alkylidene; R<3> is carboxy, -COO<-> or protected carboxy; R<4> is acyloxymethyl, vinyl, (substituted)heterocyclic thiomethyl or group shown by formula II (group shown by formula III is N-containing heterocyclic cation which may contain substituent group)] and its salt. EXAMPLE:7-{2-Bromo-1-[2-(2, 2, 2-trifluoroacetamide)thiazol-4-yl]-1-cyclopropane carboxamide}-3-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)thiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid. USE:An antibacterial agent. PREPARATION:A compound shown by formula IV or a reactive derivative in its amino group is reacted with a compound shown by formula V or its reactive derivative in its carboxyl group.
