PURPOSE:To prevent generation of sliding scratches at the outer surface of a cylinder of a movable member, by furnishing a sleeve to guide the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:At the body 1 of a booster, is furnished a movable member 16 which consists of a larger bore movable body 17 and a smaller bore cylinder 18. At the outer groove 19 of the movable body 17, is inserted sealing member 20, and the movable body 17 is housed slidable in the main body 2, while the cylinder 18 is inserted slidable in a cylindrical opening 8 of a lid member 3 by sealing with sealing members 21 and 22, and the rear end 8A of the cylinder 18 is projected outward from the rear end 8A of the cylindrical opening 8. When the movable member 16 is separated by the difference of the inner pressure between a low pressure chamber A and a pressure converting chamber 2, the cylinder 18 is moved sliding with and guided by a sleeve 27. Therefore, the cylinder 18 never slides with the cylindrical opening 8, and sliding scratches are not generated.
