The appliance has a first pump (51) for the first stock vessel (1) and a second pump (52) for the second stock vessel (2). These two pumps (51, 52) are operated synchronously. Arranged in the conveying routes (29, 30) between the two pumps (51, 52) and the nozzle (43) there is a separate intermediate store (31, 32) for each of the two components and, downstream thereof, a mixer (41). Provided in the conveying route (30a) from one of the intermediate stores (32) to the mixer (41) there is a shut-off valve (44) which in the one setting connects said intermediate store (32) to the mixer (41) and in the other setting shuts off said conveying route (30a) to the mixer (41) and instead connects the intermediate store (32) to another vessel (45), especially to the one stock vessel (2). <IMAGE>
