PURPOSE:To prevent creases and cracks produced to a film formed by the optical polymerization by setting the secondary transition temperature of the hardening resin having recesses and projections at a level higher than the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The hardening resin 2 is applied on a master disk 1 having recesses and projections on its surface. Then a substrate 3 is put on the disk 1 and the light of a proper wavelength is irradiated on the substrate 3. Thus a hardening resin layer 2a having recesses and projections is adhered to the substrate 3 for production of an optical recording carrier. Then the recording carrier is removed from the disk 1. An optical medium is obtained by means such an optical recording carrier. In this case, a protection layer 4, a recording layer 5 and a protection layer 6, for example, are laminated on the layer 2a. Then a substrates 8 is adhered to the layer 6 via an adhesive layer 7. Here the secondary transition temperature T of the resin is set at >=100 deg.C. This prevents creases and cracks produced to a film formed by the optical polymerization. |
