PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in power consumption and to reduce spike noise generated at a power terminal and a ground terminal by constituting an output circuit producing most of the through-current of a semiconductor circuit by a Schmitt circuit to the input of which positive feedback is applied from its output so as to reduce the time when the through-current of the output circuit flows. CONSTITUTION:In increasing a level at an internal input terminal 7 from 'L' to 'H' level, an n-channel MOS transistor (TR) 81 starts turning on, the level of an output terminal 9 goes gradually to 'L', a p-channel MOS TR 82 starts turning on, position feedback is applied to the input and the level at the internal input terminal 7 rises rapidly to 'H'. In case of the output circuit 8, even when the change time of an input voltage is long, the time when the through-current Icc flows short, the part shown in hatched lines is small to prevent the increase in the power consumption. Further, the through-current Icc of the entire semiconductor circuit is suppressed by suppressing the through-current Icc of the output circuit 8 and spike noise appearing at the power terminal 3, the ground terminal 4 and the output terminal 9 is suppressed. |
