PURPOSE:To improve expandability and reliability by installing a field expressing the outgoing source of data and a field accumulating the prescribed displacement between nodes whenever a message passes through the nodes in a transmission message. CONSTITUTION:Whenever the transmission message passes through the node, node displacements are sequentially accumulated in a specific area set in the message, and the identification codes of all nodes are generated, set and checked. The node setting a node identification code sets a new identification code in an SA field 120 to originate the transmission message, which is received by each node. If a result obtained by adding the SA field 102 and a DA field 130 in the message coincides with its own node identification code, the set state of the identification codes of all nodes is normal. In terms of the node disagreeing with its code, the SA field 120 of reception data after detecting said node, the DA field 130 and its reception direction are recorded, and such decision is made switch develops disagreement, the node concerned or other ones through a majority decision. Thus the addition and replacement of the node can be easily done.
