ESSENTIALLY LINEAR, THERMOPLASTIC POLY(AMINO-S-TRIAZINE)S AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF OF THE DISCLOSURE High molecular weight, essentially linear, thermoplastic poly(amino-s-triazine) resins are prepared using a novel two phase polymerization process and reactants comprising substituted or unsubstituted amino-dihalo-1,3,5-triazines and diamines. The essentially linear structure, high molecular weight and high proportion of amino-s-triazine units result in resins of outstanding strength, stiffness, hardness, chemical resistance and processability.
