PURPOSE:To enable a data terminal side to communicate with priority, and to attain an emergency communication even in busy by adding a signal for emergency communication display on an outgoing request signal from a data terminal. CONSTITUTION:When an RTS line and a DTR line are made on and an emergency call is placed from a telemeter terminal 8, a CPU 24 detects a request and when a telephone set 7 is in use, it restores a relay A23, and cuts off a circuit driving a contact point (a) from an upper side to a lower side, and after that, it operates a loop closing circuit 16, and closes a loop again. Since the DTR line has been made on at an outgoing request time, a dial sending is performed just after the detection of the off state of the RTS. Once when an emergency outgoing is performed with the off of the RTS and the on of the DTR, the call from the telephone set 7 is completely neglected by the CPU 24 until it terminates, and therefore, the emergency outgoing from the terminal 8 can be secured. And the terminal 8 can communicate with an opposite telemeter.
