PRIVACY SYSTEM FOR REMOTE SENSING DATA

PURPOSE:To prevent a remote sensing data from being intercepted by ciphering observation data in a satellite based on a key from a ground control station and decoding a reception data from the satellite in a ground station. CONSTITUTION:The key of encoding is generated by the processing system 8 of a ground control station 7 and is not only transmitted to a satellite 1 through an antenna 9 but also sent to a corresponding ground station 4 by a safe transmission means 10. Sensing data due to the satellite 1 is encoded based on this key and is transmitted together with a time code or the like and is received through an antenna 5 by the ground station 4. This received code is decoded in the ground station based on the key. The key is used in this manner to prevent remote sensing data from being intercepted and decoded.
