COUNTER ELECTRODE FOR CORONA DISCHARGE TREATMENT AND CORONA DISCHARGE TREATMENT USING SAME

PURPOSE:To perform corona discharge treatment of a three-dimesnional resin molding effectively, by disposing a counter electrode of a shape nearly the same as that of the molding on the back of the molding, opposing a discharge electrode to the counter electrode and generating corona discharge between them. CONSTITUTION:An electrode base 62 having a surface of a shape nearly the same as the three-dimensional shape of the back of the treatment surface of a three-dimensional molding 1 is provided on the top of a hollow electrode mount 61. The back of the molding 1 is fitted on the surface of a counter electrode 63 formed on the surface of the base 62. The discharge point 52 of the held part 51 of a discharge electrode 50 is relatively approached to the treatment surface of the molding 1 to oppose the electrode 50 to the electrode 63 through the molding 1. A high-frequency oscillator 16 is operated and the generated high-frequency output is increased in voltage by a high-voltage transformer 17 and this high-frequency is impressed between the electrodes 50 and 63 to generate corona discharge. The electrode 50 is relatively moved along the treatment surface of the molding 1 to effect corona discharge treatment.
