MANUFACTURE OF STEEL SHEET HAVING SUPERIOR SUITABILITY TO PHOSPHATING PROPERTY

PURPOSE:To manufacture a steel sheet having superior suitability to phosphating property by soaking a dead soft low-Mn steel having a specified composition at a specified temp. before hot rolling. CONSTITUTION:The composition of a dead soft low-Mn steel is composed of 0.001-0.007wt% C, 0.05-0.2wt% Mn and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The dead soft low-Mn steel is soaked at 950-1,100 deg.C before hot rolling.
