PURPOSE:To increase the band of a microstrip antenna without deteriorating such advantages of this antenna as a compact and lightweight structure and a low posture, by setting a conductor plate in parallel between a radiation conductor element and an earth conductor plate and a feeder connected between said conductor element and plate respectively. CONSTITUTION:A radiation conductor element 1 of a circular open plane circuit having a radius (a) is formed by etching, etc. to the 1st dielectric substrate 11 having the thickness satisfactorily smaller than the wavelength. While a circular conductor plate 12 having a radius (b) is also formed by etching, etc. on the surface opposite to the element 1. The 2nd dielectric substrate 13 having the thickness satisfactorily smaller than the wavelength contains an earth conductor plate 3 on its single surface. A feeder 6 is connected to the plate 12 and the element 1 from a coaxial line 5 of an input terminal through a feed point 4. Both substrates 11 and 13 are adhered together.
