PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber/brass composite excellent in resistance to heat, oil, water and wet aging, by laying specified two rubber compositions upon brass and integrating them into one body by vulcanization. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition (A) is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. nitrile group-containing elastomer comprising 10-45wt% unsaturated nitrile units, 0-20wt% conjugated diene units and 90-35wt% ethylenically unsaturated monomer units with 1-15pts.wt. 6-R-2,4-dimercapto-1,3,5-triazine (wherein R is mercapto, alkoxy or the like) as an organic peroxide vulcanizing agent. A rubber composition (B) is obtained by mixing 100pts.wt. diene rubber with 1-100pts.wt. silica, 0.5-20pts.wt. resorcinol donor, 0.1-10pts.wt. methylene donor, 0.1-15pts.wt. organic sulfur-containing compound and 0.1-30pts.wt. sulfur vulcanizing agent. Component B and brass are laid upon component A and they are integrated into one body by vulcanization at 130-200 deg.C. |
