PURPOSE:To prevent vibration and prolong life by supporting and fixing the head of a mercury lamp. CONSTITUTION:A mercury lamp 6 is set in a socket 5 with a lamp shade 4 that is mounted the support frame 3 of a pole 2 using a screw base. In addition, a glass globe 7 is mounted on the lamp shade 4 using a screw. An inside reflecting plate 8 is fixed to the lamp shade 4 using a mounting screw 9. Using this screw 9, a lamp support tool 1 for preventing vibration is mounted. The head of the mercury lamp 6 engages with the center ring of this lamp support tool and is fixed. As a result, both ends of the mercury support tool is fully fixed by the socket 5 and the lamp support, and the mercury lamp 6 is fully prevented from being deflected by the vibration transferred externally to a pole 2. |
