PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness and easy to see the performance of picture information by inverting the white/black picture of picture information displayed in response to the instruction of white/black inversion of the picture information displayed on a display means. CONSTITUTION:A display interface device 10 consists of a picture information turning circuit 60 turning the picture information at every 90 deg., the 1st and 2nd refresh memories 75, 76, a phase decision circuit 77 and a cursor display device 80. The picture information read from the 1st refresh memory 75 is fed to a CRT display device 16 via the phase decision circuit 77, where the signal is displayed. The circuit 77 consists of an exclusive OR circuit and an AND circuit and inverts the phase of picture information freely, that is, white/black picture by selecting the phase decision signal based on the input of keyboard.
