The invention relates to a nozzle arrangement for generating a directed flow of a free-flowing medium in a flow duct (1) with constant cross-section in the longitudinal region, with a large number of nozzles (4) which are arranged at a spacing from one another in the flow direction, are aligned in the flow direction and can be acted upon by a driving medium. In order, with such a nozzle arrangement, to achieve as great a flow rate as possible and high throughput quantities through the flow duct, the invention proposes the combination of the features listed below: a) the outlet cross-sections of the nozzles (4) have a minimum spacing of 5 mm from the wall delimiting the flow duct (1); b) the nozzles are arranged in an inclined manner in relation to the flow direction of the driven medium, the angle of inclination ( alpha ) between the jet of the nozzles and the flow direction being 3@ to 45@; c) the spacing (a) of the consecutive nozzles in the flow direction corresponds to 0.4 to 0.6 times the diameter (d) of the flow duct multiplied by the cotangent of the angle of inclination ( alpha ) between the jet of the nozzles and the flow direction. <IMAGE>
