A motor vehicle, in particular a sports car, has on an upper side of the rear end a wing which extends, with the formation of a gap, to parts of the superstructure lying below it. The parts of the superstructure lying in front of the wing, viewed in the direction of travel, have, in a central region and in laterally outer regions, baffle faces with different angles of inclination from the wing. In order to obtain a good CA/CW ratio over the entire width of the wing, the wing is set in different areas at different angles with respect to a horizontal plane, an attack angle gamma of the wing to the incoming airstream being constant over the entire width of the wing.
