The track-shaped section (4) of the coupling is open in the direction towards the inner cover surface of the hose (1), and surrounds at least one ring-shaped seal (5). The seal is of material with elasticity and flexibility characteristics making it superior to the hose material, and also having greater permeability. - The ring-shaped seal presses elastically against the hose inner cover surface towards the surrounding part (3), and consists pref. of an O-ring. It can, however, have a V, Z or other cross-sectional configuration, permitting increasing and stronger diametrical expansion. In its unloaded state, the seal has a cross-sectional area with a height exceeding the depth of the track-shaped part (4). |
