The invention relates to alveolate masses. It relates to a method for forming an alveolate mass in a cavity, characterised by the steps which consist in introducing a bag made from a flexible material into the cavity and in introducing, into the bag, a foam-forming curable liquid silicone composition capable of curing into an alveolate elastomeric mass at ambient temperatures, the bag and the composition being chosen so that the bag is forced by the composition, when it expands, to match closely the shape of the cavity. Application in the motor-vehicle industry. |
