<p>PURPOSE:To mix fuel gas with the air and with exhaust gas incoming to the central part of a burner and to reduce generation of NOx, by a method wherein a swirl vane is situated to each air flow passage, and a plurality of injection holes through which fuel is obliquely injected are formed. CONSTITUTION:0-15 deg. and 40-60 deg. swirl are exerted on a primary air and a secondary air, respectively, and when operation is effected on the condition that the air in 1.5-2.5% theoretical air amount during rated volume combustion of a constant burner is injected through a center air nozzle 6 at a velocity of flow of 70-85m/s, the fuel injecting at an injection angle betag is mixed with a primary air and a secondary air swirled by means of swirl vanes 9a and 9b for combustion in a burner tile 1. In this case, exhaust gas reversely flows to the burner nozzle 3 side. Since fuel gas is injected obliquely outsidely at a speed 1.2-2.0 times as fast as an air injection speed, the fuel gas flows through an exhaust gas layer and swirl layers of a primary and secondary air. During the flow, the fuel gas is mixed with exhaust gas, and the primary and the secondary air for combustion, and namely, high temperature combustion in the burner tile 1 is prevented from occurring, and generation of NOx is sharply reduced.</p> |
