PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from being excessively cooled by enabling a part of coolant, which passes by an intercooler provided in a coolant circulating system when the engine runs under a light loading, to be forcively returned to a radiator by an electrically-driven pump. CONSTITUTION:Coolant passages 11 and 12 which communicates both cylinder blocks 41 and cylinder heads 42 of a diesel engine 40 mutually, are provided. And an inlet port of the coolant passage 11 is connected with the discharge port 30 of a liquid circulating pump 13. The outlet port of the liquid passage 12 is connected with an upper tank 30 of a radiator 14 by a duct 18, and a lower tank 31 of the radiator 14 is connected with a suction port 29 of the above said pump 13 through a duct 16, an intercooler 15, and a duct 17. And in the halfway of the above said duct 18, a thermostat 19 is provided, besides, the duct 18 in the downstream of a check valve 20, which is in the downstream of the thermostat 19, is connected with the above said duct 17 by a radiator return duct 22, to which an electrically driven pump 23 is provided. |
