PURPOSE:To separate respective size of metal plates reliably by adsorbing the tip and the rear portions of boards stored while stacking by means of suckers and separating the uppermost portion then delivering the air into a gap produced through flexure and separating thereafter inserting a flexure releasing means and feeding to an automatic developing machine. CONSTITUTION:A sucker 9 and a stopping means 11 are pressed against a metal plate 1 and moved in the separating direction to start separation then the sucker 9 is further separated to remove the leading edge of the metal plate 1 from a stopping means 7. Upon simultaneous flexure of more than two sheets of metal plates 1, the metal plate 1 is handled by means of the stopping means 7 when removing from said means 7 thus to fall off the metal plates following the second one. Then the air is delivered from a compressed air delivering means 13 into a gap formed in such a manner while a stopping means 11 is separated from the metal plate 1 thus to separate the uppermost metal plate 1. Thereafter, a flexure releasing means 20 is inserted along a rail to a face at the opposite side of the adsorbing face of the metal plate 1 to mount the metal plate 1 onto the flexure releasing means 20 and move thus to feed the metal plate 1 to an automatic developing machine. |
