PURPOSE:To improve a vibration-proof and a soundproof effect, by a method wherein an output shaft is coupled to the rear side of an engine through a resilient material, and the front part of the engine and its rear part right below a position in the vicinity of the resilient material is supported to a machine bed through a vibration-proof material. CONSTITUTION:In an engine 1, a flywheel 9 is secured to the rear end of a crank shaft 9 by means of a bolt, and a mounting plate 11 mounted to the flywheel 9 and a mounting plate 12 spline-engaged with the front end side of an output shaft 3 are intercoupled through the medium of a resilient material 2. e.g., rubber. Support seats 18, protruded upward from a machine bed 5, are placed to both sides in positions located closer to the front part of the engine 1, and a vibration-proof material 4 is located between the support seat and a support seat 19, protruded from the side of the body of the engine 1, to fasten them by means of a fastening tool 20. e.g., bolt. Further, a vibration-proof material 6 is located between a mounting arm 21, protruded from the under side of the body of the engine 1 toward the rear, and a support seat 22 attached to the machine bed 5, and the spring constant of the vibration-proof material 6 is set to a value higher than that of the vibration-proof material 4. |
