<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ideal initial speed of centrifugal casting and to make a device compact over the entire part by using a melting furnace for a casting material and separating the same from a rotating arm, thereby reducing the driving power of a driving source and the load of the rotating arm. CONSTITUTION:A crucible 41 for casting is installed to a crucible holder 4 on one end side of the rotating arm 2 and a casting mold 51 is held on the centrifugal side of the crucible 41 in tight contact therewith by a casting mold holding part 5. A melting material for casting is melted in the melting furnace 6 for the casting material equipped to the outside of the rotating locus of the arm 2 and the molten material is accepted in the crucible 41. The arm 2 is rotated around the axial center of a revolving driving shaft 1 to pour the material in the crucible 41 into the mold 51 by centrifugal force by which said material is cast. A balance weight 5 provided on the other end side of the arm 2 is properly shifted and adjusted in the axial direction of the arm 2 in order to balance the weights of the respective members including the crucible 41 for casting, the mold 51, etc.</p> |
