PURPOSE:To change the arrangement of an original image to copy the image by moving a variable power lens block e.g. in the vertical direction to the carrying direction of an original. CONSTITUTION:When a copy key 301 is depressed, a main processor group 71 drives pulse motors 31, 67 in accordance with a moving distance XL in the x direction to move the variable power lens block 8 to a prescribed position, i.e. from a point A to a point B. Consequently, the 1st carriage 411 and a photosensitive drum 10 are driven, data of one row are successively read out in the line direction from a memory 140 and the image specified by the 1st range E1 is enlarged and formed in the range E2 on the photosensitive drum 10. Thus, the image formed on the drum 10 is transferred to the 2nd range E2 part. |
