PURPOSE:To make the whole device compact by absorbing the displacement of an operating rod in the elastic transformation of a rubber-like elastic member through an urging member provided on an end of the device to return the operating rod automatically to the neutral position by the elastic force of said elastic member. CONSTITUTION:A power cylinder 4 has an operating rod 5 slidably inserted in a housing 22. A pressure receiving portion 6 is coupled integrally with the central portion of the operating rod 5 and respective left and right spaced steering hydraulic chambers 7L, 7R are defined in the housing 22. In the above device, a neutral position adjusting mechanism 25 for centering the operating rod 5 is provided on an end of the housing 22. This is, a fixed bracket 26 is coupled with the end of the housing 22 and connected to a movable bracket 27 integral with the operating rod 5 through a plurality of bolt-like urging pins 28, 29, while a rubber-like elastic member 32 is forced between inner and outer tubular collars 30, 31 fitted onto respective urging pins 28, 29. |
