The filter (10) is fitted in a holder bowl (12) of fluid-impermeable material which partly screens the filter vertical exterior, locating against it and the bottom surface of the filter with a specific clearance. The filter holder bowl rests on a pipe connection (15) which forms a clearance in relation to the bottom of the housing and a passage between the interior of the holder bowl and the return conduit. This arrangement permits oil to flow upwards from the input conduit, between the bowl exterior and the interior of the housing, with water being sepd. from the oil. The oil flows past the bowl edge and back downwards through the filter, with particle pollutants being sepd. Such pollutants are evacuated from the filter housing via the pipe connection and the return conduit (24). |
