PURPOSE:To uniformly disperse a carrier generating material and to enhance sensitivity and the like by mixing a thermoplastic acrylic resin component with a binder resin in a photosensitive body having a photosensitive layer containing the carrier generating material and the binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The intended photosensitive body is obtained by mixing and dissolving (A) 100pts.wt. of the carrier generating material generating the carrier upon irradiation of light exemplified by formula I; (B) 200-500pts.wt. of the binder resin, such as a phenol resin, containing 10-100pts.wt. of the thermoplastic acrylic resin component, such as polymethyl acrylate or a styrenemethyl acrylate copolymer; and (C) a carrier transfer material exemplified by formula II in (D) a solvent, coating a conductive substrate 1 of an aluminum plate or the like with the obtained mixture of solution and dispersion, and drying them, and thus forming a photosensitive layer containing the carrier generating material 6 and the carrier transfer material 7. |
