HUT042458 T Three methods for preparing 5-N-substd.phenylcarbamoyl-2-thiobarbitu ric acid derivs. of formula (I), their tautomers and salts are new: Ph = (II), R1 and R2 = 1-5C alkyl or OMe; R3 = phenyl (opt. substd. by 1-3 of 1-5C alkyl, halo, NO2, 1-5C haloalkyl contg. 1-5 halo or cyano (1-4C)alkyl) or pyridyl (opt. substd. by 1-3 of 1-3C alkyl, halo, NO2 or 1-5C haloalkyl as above); R4 and R5 = H, halo, 1-5C alkyl, 1-2C haloalkyl contg. 1-3 halo, 1-3C alkoxy or NO2. - One method is reaction of ester (III) with Ph-NH2 at 50-250 deg.C. (R = 1-4C alkyl or phenyl, opt. substd. by NO2).
