<p>Lubricant and fuel additives having excellent dispersant properties have amide linkages, in the same molecule, derived from mono- and polycarboxylic acids. The additives are produced by reacting (1) at least one fatty monocarboxylic acid, (2) at least one alkenyl- or alkylsuccinic acid and anhydride and (3) at least one polyamine.</p> |
