PURPOSE:To make it possible to steer rear wheels in a simple constitution and with high accuracy by sliding and displacing the output shaft connect ed to right and left wheels by one shaft in its axis direction through a pair of roller members by means of cam members turning in response to steering amount of front wheels. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 10 turns, for example, counterclockwise, an intermediate shaft 24 is turned in response to steering volumes of front wheels. By turning of the intermediate shaft 24, a drive gear 38 of a rear wheel steering device 28 is turned, and through a driven gear 36 of large diameter a cam member 44 made integral with the driven gear 36 is turned clockwise. When steering angle of the steering wheel exceeds about 200 degrees, each rolling-contact roller 48, 50 is displaced from a cam face portion 46a which zeroes the steering volume of the rear wheels to each cam face portion 46c, 46b, and by further steering operation the output shaft 42 is displaced to the right through each rolling contact roller 48, 50 to steer the rear wheels in reverse phase to the front wheels. |
