PURPOSE:To know immediately a fault generating place or generating state by always storing instruction information, address information and status information as maintenance information. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disc device DKU2 transmits/receives instruction information 101, address information 102 and status information 103 to/from a control device DKC3 and writes/read out these information and said information is sent to a logging circuit 7 through a switching and connecting part 6 to be stored. If any fault is generated during the operation of the DKU2, the fault generating place or the falut status can be immediately detected by checking the instruction information, address information and status information stored in the logging circuit 7, so that necessary recovery processing can be smoothly executed. |
