The invention relates to a fair and exhibition stand which is intended for use as a container for the transportation of exhibition items to the fair or exhibition. In order to provide a stand at considerably lower costs than before, the container (1) exhibits, for the transportation of the exhibition items to the fair or exhibition, double walls (6, 13 and 7, 14) on at least one of its sides, one (6 and/or 7) of the double walls (6, 13 and 7, 14, respectively) being mounted pivotably on the floor (3) of the container (1) and the other wall (13 and/or 14) being mounted pivotably on the ceiling (4) of the container (1), with the result that, after the container (1) has been set down at a location in the fair or exhibition grounds which is intended for setting up the exhibition items, the respective wall can be folded downwards or upwards in order to form, together with the floor (3) and the ceiling (4) a lower and upper exhibition storey, respectively. <IMAGE> |
