PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture the titled heat exchanger at a low cost and with a light weight by forming fins by thin plates of a synthetic resin having on the surface thereof a good heat conductive membrane made of a metal having a good heat conductivity or a nonferrous metal such as aluminum foils and the like, in the titled heat exchanger for use in an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:A fin and tube type heat exchanger 1 comprises a large number of fins 2 held between side plates 6 and 6, hair pins 3 penetrating through a tube through hole 2d with a plurality of curled portions 2c provided in fins 2, turn bends 4 brazed thereto, outlet tubes 8 and inlet tubes 7. The fins 2 are formed by a method of vapor depositing the good heat conductive membrane 2b made of extremely thin aluminum foils and the like on the surface of a synthetic resin. Thus, the reduction of the prime cost, the lightening of the weight and the improvement in corrosion resistance can be realized. |
