PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous correction fluid which is an aqueous correction fluid hardly causing a hard precipitate even after long-term preservation forms a coating film for suppressing the rise of direct dye and acidic dye to the surface of coating film in opacified handwriting. SOLUTION: In this aqueous correction fluid comprising at least water, an opacifying material and a cationic resin, the opacifying material is titanium oxide coated with silica and alumina. The amount of silica used in the treatment is larger than that of alumina.
