PURPOSE:To facilitate snow-removing which is not influenced by weather conditions and snow conditions by a method wherein the heat generated by the operation of an apparatus is introduced into a hollow glass of a light-receiving plane through a pipe protected by heat-insulating material and the surface of the glass is warmed by the introduced heat to melt snow. CONSTITUTION:A transparent hollow glass plate 8 is provided on a light-receiving plane 11 of a solar battery 1. An apparatus 3 and a switchboard 5, which distributes electric power supplied by the solar battery 1 to the apparatus 3 and a storage battery 6 composed of alkali and so forth, are provided in, for instance, the building 4 of a radio telemeter observing station. Electric power to be consumed, generated by the solar battery 1, is supplied to the apparatus 3 and excessive power, generated by the solar battery 1, is stored by the storage battery 6. The hollow glass plate 8, provided on the light-receiving plane 11 of the solar battery 1, is linked with the apparatus 3 through a heat-insulating pipe 9. If the power is supplied to the apparatus 3 to operate it, heat is generated and the generated heat is introduced into the hollow glass plate 8 through the heat-insulating pipe 9 by a convection as shown by arrow marks. Further, the apparatus itself is shielded by heat-insulating material and whose generated heat in the apparatus 3 is introduced into the hollow glass plate 8 to warm it. |
