PURPOSE:To obtain a motor system which has high speed responsiveness, high efficiency and high reliability by using a DC brushless motor at rotating time and a stepping motor at stopping time. CONSTITUTION:An encoder 11 is mounted in a stepping motor 10. When the rotor shaft 12 of the motor 10 rotates one revolution, the shaft 13 of the encoder 11 accurately rotates one revolution. Since it is switched by the output of the encoder at rotating time, the motor 10 rotates freely like a DC brushless motor. To stop the rotor at stopping time, the output of the encoder disposed at the front side of a pole is used to be locked. |
